You Are the Meaning of Life
Think of yourself as an actor in a movie about time travel — every decision, every line, every gesture tells your story.
Now imagine that you are the spaceship.
Your body, mind, and habits are the systems that keep it flying.
The Body as a Machine
-
Home = Garage That’s where your ship rests, recharges, and repairs.
-
Gym = Tune-up Station Working out is your maintenance schedule — tighten the bolts, change the fluids, burn off carbon buildup.
-
Life = Time Every second is a flight log entry. You can’t add more hours to the day, only decide how to use the 24 you get.
Operational Systems
| Human Function | Ship Analogy | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Breathing | Engine operation | Shallow, fast breathing = high RPM; slow, deep breathing = low RPM, smooth idle |
| Sweating | Exhaust | When you push your engine hard, it vents the heat — that’s sweat |
| Sleep | Temporary shutdown | Like docking at a repair station — the ship powers down for maintenance |
| Waking up | Reboot / Launch | Morning systems check, ready to fly again |
| Drinking water | Lubrication | Keeps all parts moving smoothly |
| Digestion | Fuel processing | Converts intake into usable energy, ejects waste |
| Bathroom break | Waste disposal | Natural byproduct of operation — don’t overthink it |
System Awareness
Your sound, movement, and output can be observed by others — so be mindful of your noise and emissions.
The items and people you encounter are part of your journey. They may be tools, challenges, or opportunities — but everything comes at a price (time, energy, attention).
Live an organized, balanced, and intentional life. Put tools where you’ll find them — both physically and mentally — because not every version of you will be “normal” at the same time.
Navigation: Daily Thought Checklist
Ask yourself, regularly:
- What am I doing?
- What do I need to do?
- What should I do?
- What can I do?
- Why am I doing it?
Example:
“I’m scrolling social media.” Why? To relax or to avoid something? If it’s the latter, maybe your ship’s autopilot took over. Time to take the controls back.
The Mirror Effect
What if the only way to notice yourself was to see another version of you — same essence, different body?
Imagine meeting someone you’re drawn to — same energy, just a different skin tone, shape, or voice. That’s not competition or hierarchy; it’s reflection.
Being in someone else’s shoes shouldn’t make you feel superior. It should remind you that they’re a different pilot in a similar ship.
Emotional Diagnostics
Your feelings — both physical and mental — are diagnostic readouts. They tell you what’s happening under the hood.
Ask yourself:
- Why am I feeling this way?
- What caused it?
- What do I need right now?
- Should I do something to change it — or simply observe?
Examples:
- Hungry? You need fuel.
- Angry? Maybe overheating — check coolant (breathing, sleep, hydration).
- Anxious? Engine idle too high — slow your RPMs with controlled breathing.
- Numb? Could be low battery — maybe you need rest or connection.
Remember: every change in feeling has a cost or side effect. Some fade fast (like caffeine), others linger (like trauma or bad habits).
Relaxation and Maintenance
Relaxation isn’t luxury — it’s default operation. If you can’t relax, something’s wrong with the system.
Ask:
- Did I overwork the ship?
- Did I fuel it wrong?
- Did someone mess with the controls?
When you feel good, you should feel at ease. If “feeling good” feels chaotic — like too much voltage — you might need to power down for a bit.
Final Systems Log
- Eat, sleep, move, think — every cycle matters.
- Your feelings and functions are indicators, not enemies.
- Every object, sound, and choice is data.
- And at the end of the day, you are both the pilot and the purpose.
You are the meaning of life — not because you exist, but because you interpret existence.
Old
you are the meaning of life
think of yourself as an actor in a movie about traveling time, and what you do is telling a story
you are the space ship home = garage gym = tune up? life = time
t boostin k feeling? g steering
sleep = death wake up = life water = lubrication
breathing = normal operation, kind of like an engine running , the sound and how hard you breath or heavy you breathe just like the engine … could need a tuneup… also can affect your ability to relax…relaxing should include slower longer breath, ie low rpm, faster breathing = speed,
sweat is a natural byproduct exhaust
you have 24 hours
everything you do has meaning, purpose, reason
sounds can be heard by others
the items you come across are for you, but they might come at a price
live an organized balanced planned life
put things in places you might remember when you are normal and not normal
think about what you are doing, what you need, right now, later today, tomorrow,
what are you going to do what do you need to do what should you do what can you do why are you doing
what if in order to realize or notice things you had to see the same version of yourself in someone else’s body (just different skin tone — perhaps someone you are interested in)?
being in someone’s shoes, should not give the impression that you are better than them. similarly, you should not have the impression that they are better than you.
feelings mater, both physical and mental they can also indicate what you need now, future, to do or ask yourself why you are feeling that way what do you need to feel a certain way why are you feeling that way should you do something to feel a certain way? better? worse?
when you feel a certain way could indicate what you need, or did… for example eating or using drugs
but they all come at a price or have side effects some last for a while, others immediate.
relaxing = by default you should be relaxed if you aren’t, ask yourself why. inspect your ship, did you do something to it? did someone else to something to it?
feeling good should be a relaxed feeling, if it’s not, you may need to do something
take a shit/piss = byproduct
